Culinary traditions in tourist territorial marketing

Culinary traditions are one of the most important elements of cultural heritage. In policy of EU so-called regional & traditional products are protected by law. One of the most popular attractions in cultural tourism are food and culinary traditions. So, recently in many states regional and local authorities have used culinary traditions as a important part of territorial marketing, especially for tourists. Such situation has observed in so-called 4V countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia). In paper are examples of regional and local inititatives concerning culinary traditions in perspective of tourist territorial marketing.
