St?ední Evropa i v rámci Evropské unie a schengenského prostoru z?stává nadále pom?rn? heterogenním makroregionem. Na p?íkladu euroregionu Silva Nortica v ?esko-rakouském pohrani?í bude prezentován pokus o regionální analýzu pomocí souboru p?eshrani?ních tematických map. Modelové území i p?es svoje pom?rn? homogenní fyzickogeografické a ?áste?n? také historické rámcové podmínky vykazuje nadále pom?rn? diferencovanou strukturu a to p?edevším podél státní hranice a také reliktní hranice vysídleného n?mecky mluvícího obyvatelstva.

Central Europe in the European Union and the Schengen area remains quite heterogeneous-regions. The example of the Euroregion Silva Nortica in the Czech-Austrian borderland will be presented in an attempt to analyze a set of regional cross-border thematic maps. The model area despite its relatively homogeneous physical geographical and partly historical framework has remained relatively differentiated structure, especially along the state border and along the boundaries of relict displaced German-speaking population.
